One sentence I recorded in my journal for further conversations with God is this:
“It doesn’t take us long to replace God.”
OUCH! A lot of truth in those words.
I really like how Matthew dives deep into bible stories of Moses and Samuel as illustrations of God’s presence. His word deepens the lessons from these stories and should me new insights into those passages.
